Digital technology at the service of the historical and cultural heritage

Digital Library PAVIA has been designed to collect, preserve, enhance and make available in digital format the prestigious archival, book and museum heritage of the University of Pavia, but it could involve in the future other institutions outside the university.

Due to the historical, cultural and artistic importance of the collected and stored materials, this service offers itself as a support for the study and the research, not only aimed at professors, researchers and students of the University of Pavia, but also at the entire community.

DIGITIZATION LAB

We set up a digitization laboratory within the management and development activities of DIGITAL LIBRARY PAVIA service. It is first available for the needs of all the structures belonging to the University, but our purpose is to extended this service to other external institutions in the area of Pavia.
