UNITESI UNIPV UNITESI UNIPV is the institutional open archive of the University of Pavia, dedicated to the theses and final papers of the university’s degree programs. • the complete bibliographic records with descriptive metadata of the master’s theses and single-cycle master’s theses defended from the academic year 2008/2009 onwards; The publication of the theses is planned to take place in four distinct phases: • From July 1, 2024: publication of current theses in the humanities, law, economics, political science, and psychology; The thesis description sheet is always freely accessible. The bibliographic data and abstracts are published without restrictions as they are not sensitive data and do not pose a risk to privacy. However, the university manages the access policies for each individual file available for download. Attached documents may be public, unavailable, or become public only after a predefined embargo period, depending on the option selected by the student at the time of thesis submission (see “Procedure for obtaining a degree“). If the author has granted prior permission, the full-text thesis and any attached files in .pdf/A format are associated with the record and can generally be downloaded with open access. Access restrictions may apply depending on the type of authorization granted by the author. The icons next to the titles and a legend at the bottom of the page always specify the type of authorization and any access restrictions:
The author retains all copyright rights provided by copyright law (Law No. 633/1941 and subsequent amendments), granting the university a non-exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the full-text thesis. Users of the archive are allowed to download and consult the open access thesis in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons license: The processing of degree data for the purpose of publishing theses in the UNITESI UNIPV archive is carried out in accordance with the privacy notice published in the privacy section of the University of Pavia’s institutional website.
