Study and Reading Rooms

Library spaces are open to all users accessing our services (reference assistance, borrowing, on-site collection consultation etc.) as well as for personal study.

Before accessing reading rooms or study areas reserved for Università di Pavia students and staff, please check seat availability via Affluences (instructions here); in some locations, group study rooms are available (by reservation).

To ensure the best environment for everyone, please observe the following guidelines:
● Speak quietly and keep all personal devices on silent mode
● Do not bring food or drink into the study areas
● Do not reserve seats by leaving personal belongings unattended
● Register book loans before taking them out of the library
● Treat our facilities, furniture, and collections with care
